Our territory

The peculiar geographical conformation of the territory, the mild and temperate climate facilitating the olive tree life, the manufacturing specialization, the centuries-old olive growing tradition of the area and the presence of several olive groves are the main reasons leading Pianella, in the Abruzzo region, to an extremely quality Extra virgin olive oil production.

Pianella is an Italian city in the province of Pescara, Abruzzo, counting 7.961 inhabitants. It is placed in the inland parts of Pescara, between the Tavo and Pescara rivers, and it is characterised by a mainly hilly territory.
The city centre develops around the remains of the ancient fortification, dating back to the year 1500, built in memory of Lieutenant Cristiano Pellegrini (1313-1340).
